Alanis signs on for Radio Free Albemuth - Nov 06, 2007
Alanis Morissette has been tapped to star in sci-fi movie Radio Free Albemuth. In the film, based on Philip K Dick semi-autobiographical novel, the singer will perform Sylvia, a woman with cancer who appears in the visions of a record label executive. Alanis is said to be a huge admirer of Dick’s work, "I feel blessed to portray Sylvia and to be part of this story being told in film," she was quoted as saying. The movie will be written and directed by John Alan Simon.
